So far, all is well. The cable ends of the eyeglasses are actually 1.5mm but with the help of a hairdryer I was able to install these easily. The packet arrived quickly and the price was very reasonable.

For those of us who insist on cable temples, even though some might think they look better with all the gold showing back to the ear, they DO provide comfort for those who are sensitive to the wire contacting the ear and will protect the gold filled on the temple itself. They are beautifully made and have a little taper to neatly join the temple wire leading to the frame front. Would that people 70 years ago should have had these available!
